"It is vital for businesses to create and sustain competitive advantages. One way to contribute to this is through the reduction of energy costs. The BOC program requires each student to design an Energy Project that includes a plan to reduce utility bills at a sponsoring facility. Additionally, Waste Reduction Partners will offer each student a free on-site energy consultation with one of their experts." --Stewart Chason, BOC coordinator
"We are achieving major utility bill savings in State facilities, and well-trained, front-line staff are key to that success. The Building Operator Certification training is an opportunity for any organization with larger buildings to save big on their utility bills, through this training for their building maintenance technicians." -- David Wallace, Western North Carolina Program Manager for the North Carolina State Energy Office.
"Waste Reduction Partners endorses the Building Operator Certification training as a practical way to begin saving money on building utility costs. As a partner with A-B Tech, we will offer BOC students free consultation at their place of business, and help them find ways to save energy." --Terry Albrecht, Director of Waste Reduction Partners.
