- What services does A-B Tech’s Career Center offer?
- The Career Center offers A-B Tech students a variety of free career counseling and assessment workshops through our Hire Education Series. Students will learn how to select a major, educational goal setting, and preparation for the world of work.

- The student who is: 1) struggling with the current curriculum choice, 2) unsatisfied with the program of choice, 3) not getting accepted into the first program of choice, 4) facing a complete career change, or 5) needing to prepare for entry into the world of work.

- What kinds of career information is available in the Career Center?
- The Career Center's library includes books and DVD's on a variety of careers, college/university selections, resume writing, job search strategies, and preparing for interviews. Computers are available for career-oriented activities. Return to top
- Where is the Career Center located?
- K. Ray Bailey building on Asheville's main campus. The Career Center is open Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Friday's from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please call ahead for visits to the Career Center at 254-1921, extension 209. Return to top

- A career counselor can help you identify current needs, interests and set goals based on a realistic assessment of your particular situation. Our professional staff understand potential special concerns and needs of returning students and will help with this transition. Return to top
