Career Counseling
Research indicates that when engaged in work that requires traits, skills and interests one naturally has, the chance of experiencing career success and satisfaction increases.
Career counseling helps A-B Tech students identify interests, abilities, values, skills, personality type, and other factors to assist in making informed career choices. Additional services include job-search strategies, cover letter and resume writing, and preparing for interviews. The Career Center also houses a variety of books, DVD's, and other relevant materials.
The Career Center, located in the Bailey building, is now offering the "Hire Education" series for curriculum students wishing to explore career options, or for students seeking guidance in preparing for the world of work.
Individual counseling sessions will be considered after students complete the group(s) of their choice. Services are available at no charge.
Please select Schedule or Cancel an Appointment for group details and to reserve a seat.
