Student Activity Fees
The student activity fee will be charged each semester based upon the number of credit hours taken during the day at the Asheville campus. The student who enrolls for nine or more on-campus day credit hours will be charged a student activity fee of $19.00 for the fall and spring semesters. The student who enrolls for eight or fewer on-campus day credit hours will be charged a student activity fee of $14.00 for the fall and spring semesters.
All student activities are financed through the activity fee paid by each day student. This fee is currently used to provide the following resources, services and activities:
Fall Festival
Children's Holiday Party
Earth Day Celebration
Dean's and President's List Ceremonies
Academic Excellence Ceremony
Graduation Reception
Veterans' Day Activities
Alcohol Screening Event
Mental Health Screening Event
Diversity Awareness Programs
Clubs - 18 Co-Curricular Outings - class trips to museums and plays
Passes to the Asheville Art Museum
Student Membership to the Smith-McDowell House
New Student Orientation
Wellness Brochures in the K. Ray Bailey, Student Success Center
Student Handbook/Calendar printing
Student Government Association Services
