Jay and Lucretia Pintacuda wrote a letter to President Dennis King to acknowledge the leadership and outstanding act of kindness by Angela Goodwin, Radiography Chair.
“She went way above the role and responsibility of a faculty member in her kindness to our daughter, Lauren Pintacuda,” they wrote. Their daughter became extremely sick while they were away. Angie called to check on Lauren’s absences. When she discovered Lauren was home alone and very sick, she drove to Lauren’s house to check on her. Angie ended up taking her to the ER and continued to check on her as she recovered over the next several days.
“We are extremely grateful for the care and concern of such a dedicated faculty member. Our daughter has mentioned on several occasions that Ms. Goodwin is not only an excellent teacher but a very caring person as well. You can be proud to have someone like her on your faculty staff.”
